The final work on Araby. Dzieci wiatru (Arabians. Children of the wind), album of art, is being done. Gorgeous, artistic pictures of Arabian horses were made by Tadeusz Budziński, talented photographer but also glider-pilot, hunter and over the 30 photoalbums’ author – his art work is usually dedicated to nature as: Bieszczady Mountains, Podkarpacie, Wilk (The wolf), Hucuły. Many hours spent with his camera amongst the horses put at 180 ha pastures of Kielnarowa Stud at Tarnawka where they spend most of the year brought the great impressions and photo documents about „horse and the open space”. The graphics and texts are by Professor Andrzej Strumiłło – breeder and Arabian horse’s soul great expert – who wrote in the introduction: „We are horse’s debtors. We have got from him more then we could ever give back. For the thousands of years of common existence – sweat and blood mixed together at the battlefields for the horse’s faith and beauty that were given to us we owe him respect and selfless friendship”.

Andrzej Strumiłło born in 1928 in Vilnius. Graduated the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź and Cracow Academy of Fine Arts (graduated 1950). He was the scientific assistant on both (1949–1953) and the Professor at Cracow Academy of Fine Arts (1977–1980) later on. In 1982-84 the head of a graphic art studio by United Nations’ General Department, New York. Multitalented artist – painter, draughtsman, sculptor, photographer, poet and book illustrator and author. He is the uncontested Orient expert. During his many trips he gathered the big collection of the work of arts from this part of the world created the collection of Museum of Ethnology in Cracow and Asia and Pacific Museum in Warsaw. He lives by Czarna Hańcza river in Suwałki county at Maćkowa Ruda – the abode where Professor Andrzej Strumiłło breeds his beloved Arabian horses.

Tadeusz Budziński Union of Polish Art Photographers member since 1974. He is a professional editorial photographer and over 30 albums of photography author – as: Ziemia Przemyska (1995), Bieszczady (1985, 1995), Przemyśl (1991), W krainie wilka (1995), Karpaty Wschodnie (1996), Jarosław i okolice (1997), Ojciec Święty na Podkarpaciu (1997), Zamki i pałace Polski południowo-wschodniej (1998), Rzeszów (1999), Podkarpacie (2000, 2006), Krasiczyn (2000), Pogranicze kultur (2001), Hucuły. Konie z gór (2005), Żubr (2006). He had also many art exhibitions and took part at international and national photo art events where he was honored with many prizes and medals. His works are in the collections of National Museum in Wroclaw, Museum of Hunting and Horsemanship in Warsaw, National Museum of Przemyśl Land in Przemyśl and Art Exhibition Office in Rzeszów.

LIBRA established in 1991 r. This publishing company owes 8 bookstores and a publishing house. Libra bookstores organize many book promotions and author’s meetings. All of them have also the antiquarian bookshops. Their publications of albums, sightseeing books and historical monographies got many good opinions about the quality, professionalism and graphic design.
