Białka unplugged. The last ones often become the first ones
A coverage from the Białka Junior Spring Show. 147 horses were announced and just a few of them didn’t arrive to the meeting. As each year the Białka show attracted real crowds of breeders, owners and Arabian horses lovers, however, the weather was not favorable. Although it stopped raining soon (it was raining since early Saturday morning), the cold annoyed everyone. Anyway, the bad weather was insignificant at the „best show in the world”,
Wels: Sefora became Champion Mare!
We report from Wels: The finals began on Sunday from junior fillies competition. The only Polish horse entering was Psyche Victoria from Chrcynno-Palace Stud, who qualified to the final from the second position in the class. Unfortunately, she didn’t make it to the Top Five, which was formed by: Amyra Bint Khidar by Khidar, owned/bred by Sax Arabians, Al Princess Aliha by WH Justice from Al Hambra Arabians and Maharani CF by Psytadel
Wels: Janów-bred Sefora and Etnologia outstrip the competition
A coverage from Wels International: The competition in the classes at the international A-show in Austrian town of Wels raised great excitement of the exhibitors. Above all, the participants and guests were surprised by very low notes given this time by the judges – comparing to the last season. There wasn’t a single horse that would receive the highest note in any category, without even mentioning the whole row of ‘twenties’, that the audience is so keen on. The exceptional frugality of the judges was broadly commented.
Faustyna wins her class in the National Austria Show
We report from Wels: The only Polish-bred horse which has been shown with success in Friday’s National Austria Show was the Michałów-bred Faustyna (by Emigrant, out of Felicjana/Ekstern), owned by Lutetia Arabians. The grey five-year-old has won in a beautiful style the 4 to 7 year old mares class, getting excellent score for type, head and neck and movements (10-9-9, 9-9-9, 9-9-9). The only one that could’ve threatened her was Al Dafina

Are the Arabian Races a fifth wheel to a coach?
Only about 200 Thoroughbred horses will be running at the Służewiec race track in Warsaw. Including Wrocław, from where only a couple outstanding Arabian horses travel to race in Warsaw just a few more than 300 representatives of this noble breed were entered into this year’s season. That’s why this year there can already be problems with the race line-up. The first trouble appeared during the first season day (19th of April) enrollment.
Stuart Vesty in Poland – the photo sessions to the auction catalogue have started
A great, sunny weather has accompanied the shooting of the first pictures to the Auction Catalogue, that started on 3rd of May in Grabów-upon-Pilica. Stuart Vesty, who is photographing horses selected for the Janów Podlaski auction Pride of Poland, has arrived in Poland, as always, on the first Sunday of May. A very intensive ten days period in Michałów, Janów Podlaski and Białka awaits him.
