Today – the 2005 World Endurance Championships in Dubai ended. After the dramatical beginning (UAE team member fell down) and dynamic finish the winners are:
1.Hazza bin Sultan Al Nahyan (UAE) on Hachim
2. Barbara Lissarague (France) on Georgat
3.Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (UAE) on Nashmi
Golden medal went to Italian team, silver – to Australia, bonze – to Belgium.
Polish team didn’t finish. The best of Poles were Marcin Tobiasz on Ester and Tomasz Tura on Bohun – they last till 4th gate and failed at 5th – Ester because of lameness.
But we are happy that Polish team was qualified to this most important endurance race in the world – despite the completely different climatical conditions they last untill 141 kilometer! That is a success itself!
