The Sharjah International Show (6-8 April, UAE) was very successful for Pure Polish horses again. Seven of them – especially those bought in utero at Pride of Poland Sale by Sh. Zayed B. Hamdan B. Zayed Al Nahyan (UAE) were placed in Top Fives of their classes competing against the strong team of Middle Eastern horses. The horses mentioned are:
- – Yearling fillies-junior (born after March) Ist: Nesma (Gazal Al Shaqab-Promenada/Wachlarz) bred and owned: Sh. Zayed Bin Hamdan Bin Sultan Al Nahayyan /UAE before: Alliya (Aja Sangali-Empressa/Probat) bred and owned: Abdul Mohsen Alshaikh/KSA
- – Yearling Fillies – senior (born before March) IIIrd: Athary (Gazal Al Shaqab-Elwia/Ecaho) bred and owned: Sh. Zayed Bin Hamdan Bin Sultan Al Nahayyan /UAE before well known by show enthusiasts Ras Al Sina (Gazal Al Shaqab-Wideta/Wachlarz) bred and owned by the same owner
- – Stallions 4-6 y.o. V-th was Lahek W’rsan (Emigrant-Espinacja/Endel) bred and owned: Sh.Sultan Bin Sultan Al Nahyan/UAE
- – Mares 7-8 y.o. IVth was Michałów-bred Wideta (Wachlarz-Wendeta/Palas) owned also by Sh. Zayed Bin Hamdan Bin Sultan Al Nahayyan/UAE
- – the class of Stallions 9 y.o. and above was the success of Janów Podlaski Stud as Bakarat (Partner-Bajeczka/Bandos) owned by Sh. Zayed B. Hamdan B. Zayed Al Nahyan/UAE was IIIrd
Unfortunately none of these horses wasn’t placed in Championships but congratulations to happy breeders and owners as well as those whose concept was to make such lucky crossings.
