The junior Champion Stallion and Best in Show at XVII Białka Junior Spring Show became Janów Podlaski-bred Prado (Ekstern – Pętla by Visbaden), before his stable Pizarro (Gazal Al Shaqab – Pilar/Fawor) being Reserve.
The best filly was Michałów-bred Ejrene (Gazal Al Shaqab – Emocja by Monogramm) – the highest scored horse of the show! – 93,33 – with private bred Wasa (WH Justice – Waresa by Empres) from Falborek Arabians – Reserve.
Ekstern progeny proved its outstanding quality in Białka, also the Gazal Al Shaqab’s stars well known from the previous shows. But private breeders had also many reasons to be happy this year at the Spring Show. „Our time has come” –says Krzysztof Goździalski from Falborek Arabians, breeder and owner of four WH Justice offspring, that was competing very well at Białka.
The first day of the show was held under the banner of different weather, undoubted success of private bred horses as well as the record number of horses entered: 154.
In both yearling colts classes WH Justice progeny done very well: chestnut Satis (out of Sadika by Simeon Sadik), that won I B and grey Altis (out of Albia by Pers), placed second in very strong I A, he was also the best yearling of the show and the best colt private bred.
The daughters of WH Justice were also scored well: the Reserve Champion, the best yearling filly and the highest scored mare private bred – grey Wasa (out of Waresa by Empres), that won IV A class being scored the highest score of the first day of show: 92,33 and her half sister, bay Sotika (out of Słonka by Wojsław), placed third in that class.
Very strong class of two years old fillies V A was won by Eksterna (Ekstern – Emanta by Pamir), also from Falborek Arabians.
Krzysztof Goździalski, the owner, said: – This is our greatest success without a doubt so far. Few years ago I said to the State Stud directors that they will be at their heels. Now I know that we chased them. We were the only Polish breeders to use WH Justice. We tried to breed the very selected mares to him not all of them. If I could give any advice to the other breeders I’d say: Don’t listen to anyone – just trust your own knowledge and heart – of course while using good stallions for very good mares.
Łukasz Goździalski, Krzysztof’s son adds:
– Now I’m a happy man. But the real success comes if we will prove it next years.
The big success was also that of Chrcynno-Pałac stud. Grey mare Psyche Victoria (Ekstern – Pallas-Atena by Ecaho) bred by Alicja Poszepczyńska won IV B class scored 90,67, before Janów-bred Ekstern daughters: Bohema (out of Bogini by Arbil) and Entima (out of Atalanta by Europejczyk) and private bred Psytadel daughter Empiria (out of Ekspiacja by Emigrant), bred and owned by Lech Błaszczyk as well as Michałów-bred Galba daughter – Persefona (out of Ernera by Monogramm).
Two years old private bred colts were also successful: Boreasz (Metropolis NA – Bombina by Bomarc), bred and owned by Wojciech Kowalik was placed second in II A class while second in II B was Faronn (Ekstern – Firosetta by Eldon), bred and owned by the priest – Stanisław Sławiński, owner of Czeple Arabians stud. Stanisław Sławiński was also happy because of his yearling filly Pasadia (Ekstern – Pasadena by Eukaliptus) third in IV C class. Amongst the stallions 3 years old second was Papion (Ecaho – Prokanitsa by Karnaval), bred and owned by Przemysław Sawicki.
Top fives of the classes were also taken by some private bred colts as: Askar (Piaff – Aliara/Europejczyk), bred and owned by Sowiniec stud, Panicz (Gaspar – Pelisa/Europejczyk) bred and owned by Monika Luft and Tidal (Grafik – Turbina/Balaton) bred and owned by Jan Matwijiaszyn – the colt was quite happy to run free for the moment when his halter broke down.
In colts 3 years old only 5 horses were entered so all of them was in top five of their class with Białka-bred Celsjusz (Ekstern – Carina/Pesal) as the winner followed by: Fireball (Magnum Psyche – Flotylka/Emigrant), bred by Stanisław Redestowicz, owned by Tomasz Tarczyński, Puls (Murat-Nur – Pikla/Floret), bred and owned by Andrzej Szubart and Wened (Espadero – Włócznia/Borek) bred and owned by Adam Sobczuk.
Private bred fillies qualified to top fives of the classes were: El-Enia (Eutin – Emanuela/Pamir), bred and owned by Andrzej Majchrzak, Egeriana (Poganin – Elizka/Pamir), bred and owned by ZPH Strusinianka, Enspinezja (Psytadel – Entaga/Ganges), bred and owned by Leszek Jarmuż and Garuna (Grafik – Gwarka/Monogramm) bred and owned by Agnieszka Wójtowicz.
