Polish National Junior Champion of 2011 – Pogrom (QR Marc – Pętla/Visbaden) was crowned US National Senior Champion Stallion in Tulsa, Oklahoma last weekend. The Janów Podlaski graduate and resident of Midwest Training Center USA in the hands of David Boggs bested Marhabaah (Marwan Al Shaqab – Shalina El Jamaal/Parys El Jamaal), bred by Hank & Sandy de Shazer, which – shown by Andrew Sellman – had to settle for the title of reserve. And so the coalition of Gazal Al Shaqab blood stallions routed their rivals bearing the Padrons Psyche coat of arms. The Top Ten of the senior stallions’ championships included a large group of Padrons’ get: his grandson Spitfyre VF (TF Psymreekhe – Red Flame/Red Bear), bred by Ventura Farms, his grandson Vegas DPA (EF Kingston – Angelina DPA/EA Echstravagant), bred by Kristi Hopp, his grandson and great-grandson Mister Magnum (Magnum Chall HVP – Pretty Tricky/Padrons Psyche), bred by Sandro R. Pinha, his grandson Skyehawkk (Magnum Psyche – Alada Khlasse VS/Alada Baskin I), bred by Kurt & Christine Lawson, his great-grandson FSF Dakaros Enchanter (Dakharo – Enchantingly Shai/Enchanter Magic FHP), bred by Fern Spring Farm. Among them a place in the Top Ten was also secured by the son of Ecaho, Skoroneek IA (out of BA Famous Lace/Fame VF), bred by Richard D. DeWalt.

The US Nationals were held for the 47th time. For Pogrom is a third American victory, after his wins in Scottsdale and Las Vegas. It is the greatest success for a Polish stallion in the US in the 21st century. Let’s recall that the last Polish-bred US National Champion was Emanor (Wojsław – Emanacja/Eukaliptus) in 1999, bred by Michałów Stud.
