Bred in 2014 by Al Khalediah Stables, the great-looking (162 cm at the withers) grey Mashhur Al Kahlediah is the son of Jalnar Al Khalediah, who, among other great horses, also produced the best Arabian in Polish training, the winner of the World Cup in Paris (2018) – Fazza Al Khalediah. His dam Amerah, on the other hand, comes from a wonderful S-racing Polish damline from Janów Podlaski (which gave the world the likes of Savvanah, Sarmacja, Saszetka).
During his four-year career at the race track, Mashhur Al Khalediah represented the colors of Athba Studs, a racing stable from Saudi Arabia.
He won seven Stakes races, including the prestigious Jewel Crown G1 in Abu Dhabi. He ran very well in group races not only on grass, but also on a dirt track. He won a total of €1.2 million. He ended his racing career at the age of seven (in 2021), because the owner decided that he earned enough on the track and recruited him as a chief sire at his stud. Since last year he has been stationed in the south of France at the foot of the Pyrenees, not far from the city of Lourdes at Saint Faust Stud.
The breeding fee is 1800€ for natural covering and 2000€ for insemination with frozen semen. Saint Faust Stud provides commercial information on this subject.
