   Today, between 10:00 am and 2:00pm the qualifications for mares in 2004 World Championships took place.

Poland was represented by:
Pianissima (Gazal Al Shaqab – Pianosa) B/O: SK Janów Podlaski
Missouri (Wachlarz – Mina) B/O: MJ. Pietrzak
Emira (Laheeb – Embra) B/O: SK Michałów
El Dorada (Sanadik El Shaklan – Emigrantka) B/O: SK Michałów
Olita (Ecaho – Orawa) B/O: SK Janów Podlaski
Palmira (Monogramm – Palestra) B/O: SK Michałów
Euskara (Ararat – Euglena) B: SK Kurozwęki O: SO Białka
Fallada (Monogramm – Fanaberia) B/O: SK Michałów

Unfortunately the following mares didn’t compete:
Szanta (Ekstern – Słonka) B: B.Dąbrowski, O: Falborek Arabians
and Polish bred:
Etenta (Monogramm – Emigracja) B: SK Michałów O: Otto & Anne Berg (FRA)
Ankara (Europejczyk – Angola) B: SK Janów Podlaski O: Halsdon Arabians (GB)
Premiera (Piechur – Premia) B: SK Michałów O: Klarenbeek Arabians (NL)

It was very lucky day for Poland! Polish mares won 3 amongst 4 classes and the succes was just in the first one with spectacular winning of Pianissima in 1-3 y.o. class A with 469points. Pianissima was also awarded with The Most Beautiful Head – Junior Filly prize. Also Fallada (462pts) and El Dorada won their classes – this last mare was the highest scored horse of the day with 470pts!.
    In Sunday’s championships also the following mares placed in Top Fives of their classes will compete:Emira (457 pts), Palmira (460 pts) i Euskara (457,5 pts).
    The rest of Polish mares was placed: 9. Olita (447pts) and 13.Missouri (440,5pts). Keep the fingers crossed for Polish mares cmpeting in World Championships – especially for Pianissima whose the biggest rival is Sundos Al Nasser (UAE) scored 465pts – the 1-3 y.o. class B winner and ECAHO Cup Fillies leader. Will she beat Pianissima?
    After today’s competitions in the rank of the best breeders the leader is Poland (with 6 horses in Top Fives in the classes) before Great Britain (4 horses). Poland is also the leader of the best owners group with 6 horses in Top Fives of classes before France and Italy (3 horses each).
    As we have counted today the best sires of 2004 World Championships are: Monogramm (Negatraz – Monogramma / Knippel) bred in US (but Pure Polish) and Ashhal Al Rayyan (Safir x Ansata Majesta / Ansata Halim Shah) bred and owned by Al Rayyan Stud (QAT). These sires were represented by two daughters each in Top Fives of the classes. Below you can find the total results of competing in the classes of mares:
