The famous Girlan-Bey joined the group of 2007 pure bred stallions offered in Poland. The stallion came to Poland yesterday personally escorted by his current owners – the Krisstoffersen Family (OKS Arab, Sweden). After the quarantine and the usual formalities Girlan-Bey will be offered to the breeders. The price was estimated for 4000 PLN (ca. 1000 EUR). The stallion is currently standing nearby his maternal stud Niewierz where – as his breeder, Mr. Michał Bogajewicz says – he will spend the first part of his stay. After that he will probably be transferred to the Eastern Poland. Girlan-Bey will not be shown during his stay in Poland but Mr. Bogajewicz unofficially mentioned about some special stallion presentation that might be organized. In the meantime there are first two Grilan-Bey foals being expected at Niewierz stud. “We hope they will be the best promotion for Girlan-Bey and will encourage the breeders to use their father” – says Michał Bogajewicz.
