Yesterday evening the International A show in Dubai that we described earlier ended.
There were no surprises in the championships, won by last season’s show favorites.
Junior Champion Mare became Bess Fa’izah (2006 World Junior Champion Mare owned by Ajman Stud, UAE) before Layan Al Khalediah (Al Khalediah Farm, Saudi Arabia).
Senior Champion Mare was elected Robin K (2006 World Champion Mare and All Nations Cup Champion, owned by Al Khalediah Farm) – with Panarea By Palawan (2006 World Junior Reserve Champion Mare, Ajman Stud) as Reserve.
As it was expected the senior stallion championships belonged to the big two winners of their classes – German bred and owned Al Lahab (scored 94.3 pts) and Michałów-bred Esparto, on lease to Ajman Stud, scored 92,5 pts. More Egyptian in type Al Lahab was awarded as the Champion – he was in better show condition Yesterday evening the International A show in Dubai that we described earlier ended.but didn’t express such a good movement as Esparto did. Both stallions were prepared for Dubai show by Frank Spoenle.
Junior Champion Stallion of the show became Marquis also well known as Sharjah, Dubai, Wells and Menton shows Champion, Top 5 in 2006 All Nations Cup, owned by Al Khalediah Farm, before the yearling Aj Dinar from Ajman Stud.
Besides Esparto’s Reserve Champion title there was one more great success of Polish breeding in Dubai show. In this prestigious championships the private two years old colt Popo (Ekwist – Prokanitsa by Karnaval) bred and owned by Przemysław Sawicki competed. The colt scored as high as 90,5 pts, was placed 4th in his class just after such a stars as Mardigras JMF, Fever Ibn Eternity-D and Baanderos. Popo has beaten 9 other horses in his age class.
