At small Norwegian town Drammen, 41 km South-West from Oslo, the International B show took place last weekend. Polish bred mares took part in this event. Agnieszka and Andrzej Wójtowicz entered Garuna (Grafik – Gwarka/Monogramm) and Kashira (Magnum Psyche – Kahila IV/ Ibn Bint Inas). This last one became Junior Champion Mare. Also Primadonna (Padrons Psyche – Pelargonia/Alegro), owned by Tomasz Tarczyński was successful with Senior Champion Mare and Best in Show titles.

Tomasz Tarczyński says:
– I’m very satisfied, as my Grabów nad Pilicą Stud was established for show profile from the beginning. This is our first so big success and an encouragement for the future. Primadonna will probably take place at some A show this year. Also the sale offers were given for her but I was not interested.

Andrzej Wójtowicz adds:
– Two of the horses being trained at Bełżyce Stud won the championships. This is big satisfaction and the confirmation of Polish horses’ quality. The other competitors were stronger that we have expected – besides Scandinavian ones there were also horses from Belgium, France, Germany and UK entered.

Garuna’s trainer says that 7th place of the mare was caused by the big number of entries (16) and the long way – 28 hours. Kashira became international champion. This is her second title – she was Junior Champion Mare at Baden Internationals in Vienna last year. Both Norwegian champion mares were bred by Mr Stanisław Redestowicz.
