Autumn show at Janów Podlaski closes the show season in Poland. Without a doubt this show is a good replacement for small shows in Mińce or Bełżyce, where the other horses but the stars from Michałów or Janów could try their chances. Organizers as well as the spectators highly appreciate the riding classes for Pure breds – very spectacular costume classes and classic dressage.
This year 59 horses were entered to the show and few less competed. There were junior
classes and championships and few costume classes held on Saturday. In yearling fillies some Ganges, Poganin, Ekstern and Psytadel daughters competed. The winner was chestnut Wersja (Poganin – Wenta/Empres), br. SK Kurozwęki, scored 89,33, before Marionetka (Wołyń – MB Maarasa/El Halimaar), br. Agricola Farm (88,33). There was only one horse scored higher than Wersja that day – the winner of colts 2–3 years old, Popo (Ekwist – Prokanitsa/Karnaval, br. Przemysław Sawicki), scored 89,67. The second was Papion (Ecaho – Prokanitsa/Karnaval – 88,33), by the same breeder. As one can see the judges were not very lavish with given points. Amongst fillies 2–3 years old dark bay Perolia (Gazal Al Shaqab – Pereira/Eldon), from Białka, was the winner beating her stablemate
Herlina (Ekstern – Heroldia/Eukaliptus). Yearling colts class was won by Abbar (Salar – Abba/Pesal), also from Białka that was very successful this year in the autumn show as a breeder of two reserve champions: Perolia and Abbar. Second in the class of yearling colts was Panicz (Gaspar – Pelisa/Europejczyk), bred and owned by Monika Luft.
Junior Champion Filly became Wersja, and amongst the colts there was no surprise – Popo.
In both costume classes – Classic Pleasure and Native the best was Ganges (Monogramm – Garonna/Fanatyk) with his rider Michał Gryglas. Ganges had also the biggest group of fans at riding classes.
Panel of judges:
