Month ago, in the summary of Polish achievements in the most important endurance event of the season – World Endurance Championships in Compiegne, we mentioned about the big interest in Polish horses. Beata Dzikowska, owner of the Champion Endurance Club competing with two Pure bred horses in Compiegne: Efendi (Harbin – Eutrofia by Palas) br. SK Białka and Ashmin (Fawor – Aktorka by Embargo) br. Zbigniew Górski, was mentioning about some negotiations after the event in France.

Yesterday we got the sensational news that the negotiations ended up and the best classified Polish horse at Compiegne – Ashmin (as the only Polish competitor he ended the route at 45th place with the tempo of 15 km/h) is currently not only owned by one of the best endurance trainers in the world Stephane Chazel (France), but will be also used in 2008 breeding season in France, including a State Stallions Depot! The details are still being discussed but Stephane Chazel mentions that one of the biggest French stallions’ depots is interested in using Ashmin in it’s sport horses breeding program.

France is long time leader in endurance breeding and competing so the use of Polish private bred stallion Ashmin at Fench private but also in prestigious state depot is a big success of Polish Arabian horse breeding and a nobilitation for the breeder – Mr. Zbigniew Górski as well as the last Polish owner, the Champion Endurance Club, that did a lot to promote Ashmin with his good endurance results.

– Stephane Chazel contacted us very soon after the Compiegne event. He was definitely decided to purchase Ashmin – Beata Dzikowska says. – The negotiations took us about 2 weeks but it ended up with success.

Due to the secrets of transaction details she will not say the final price paid by French trainer for the stallion but she points out that it was “satisfying as for a typey, Pure Polish endurance horse”.

This morning Ashmin left for Strasbourg when he will be re-loaded ant taken to his new home. Stephane Chazel plans not only to use him for breeding but also to continue his sport career – as a representative of France.

The sale transaction has also another result: two French endurance horses – including a Pure bred Arabian mare – purchased by the Champion Endurance Club. The mare is Ysakhan de Passerat out of Ysatis de Syrah by well known race and endurance sire – Regal de Khan (Djouras Tu – Khana by Saint Laurent), inbred to one of the most famous race Arabian stallion – Denouste that appears also in some Polish pedigrees via his son – Caid, grandfather of famous Janów Podlaski-bred mare Eleonora by Witraż (dam of world known Exelsjor and granddam of famous Aquinor-sons: Eleuzis, Elf and Elkin). Nine years old Ysakhan de Passerat is the dam of two foals promissing in races and one that is already being prepared for endurance so far.
