The Polish colt Popo (Ekwist – Prokanitsa), bred and owned by Przemysław Sawicki, has been listed in the stallion section of the Blommeröd Arab Stuteri website. The numerously awarded stallion (up to now he has been named Best Private Bred Colt at the 16th Junior Spring Show in Białka 2006 and Champion Colt at the 2nd Autumn Show in Janów Podlaski 2007 among others), grandson of Eukaliptus and Emanta, as well as of Karnaval and Probezhka, will make his breeding debut at the Swedish stud in the 2008 season.
Przemysław Sawicki confirms: „Popo caught the Swedes’ eye during the championships in Blommeröd and that’s when the first negotiations began. I’m curious to see how he will do when mated with their mares, many which have Polish origins. Surely also our stud will make use of Popo’s genetic potential. We keep our fingers crossed for him!”
The stallion is currently being prepared for the journey – he will leave for Sweden within the next couple of days.
