Ecaho 1990 (Pepton – Etruria/Palas) has been sold – informed Ferlita Arabians, who have owned the Janów Podlaski-bred stallion since 2003. As polskiearaby.pl found out, the buyers, Cuban originating Americans, Gilbert and Jennie De Cardenas, owners of a stud located in California’s Santa Ynez Valley, paid nearly one million dollars for him.

Ferlita Arabians will now probably import a new stallion, perhaps from Israel. Raymond Mazzei (of Furioso Farm, California), the manager of Ferlita Arabians and trainer, claims that Ecaho is – up to now – the best and most important horse brought by him to America. Ecaho has again drawn attention to himself lately, mainly through his daughter Olita (out of Orawa by Argo), leased by Valley Oak Arabians, which became Reserve Champion Mare at the show in Scottsdale, but also throughanother daughter El Euphoria VO out of El Dorada (2nd place among 2 year old fillies at the same show).
