Closely in a week (27-28th September) at Albert-Vahle-Halle in Aachen the XXVIth All Nations Cup will take place – the first title show of the season opening Triple Crown (with European and World Championships) for many breeders considered to be the most exciting, prestigious but also the hardes to compete at.

The horses entered will compete not only for champion and Top Five titles but will also be collecting points for their countries of origin for the places and titles: for All Natioans Cup Trophy (for the countries of horses owners) and Breeders Cup (for the countries of horses breeders). Poland has four All Nations Cup Trophies won so far (that gives Poland the second place in the rank after Great Britain and Belgium ex aequo) and two Breeders Cup Trophies that gives Poland the leadership in the rank of countries ex aequo with Belgium. Last season was very special for Polish breeders and owners when the team won both All Nations Cup and Breeders Cup at one time!

Will this success be repeated this year? It will not be easy for sure – at All Nations Cup in Aachen not only European bred horses may compete and there is a huge number of these bred and owned outside entered. The big favorite amongst junior colts should be highly promoted QR Marc (by Marwan Al Shaqab) bred in the US, and owned by Paul Gheysens, Belgium. There is also his relative and compatriot – the pretty Stival (by Gazal Al Shaqab), bred and owned in the US to be shown by Johanna Ullstrom’s training

center. During this show season QR Marc was strongly followed by his paternal halfsibling Baanderos owned in the ME, as well as 2007 World Champion Stallion also sired by Marwan Al Shaqab – Marajj to compete with Scott Allman on a lead again as well as his son, sent from the US to Europe and strongly promoted around Maharajja. The competition will be much more impressive as the show is said to be joined by the great sire himself –

Marwan Al Shaqab! Amongst the young colts the promising one of this season is also FS Bengali beautiful grandson – Aja Justified (by WH Justice). It’s interesting how the best Polish young stallion, 2008 National Champion colt Kabsztad (by Poganin) from Michałów Stud will do in this group. He will probably be accompanied by his stablemate Drabant, who was successfully shown in Poland and abroad this year gaining the highest scores for his outstanding movements.

Amongst the mares there will be the strongest Polish group of Gazal Al Shaqab daughters – with unbeaten Pianissima on top who is coming back for the Triple Crown this time as senior mare and she has big chances to repeat the success. In her age group she will meet excellent paternal halfsisters bred by Michałów Stud: Pistoria, Norma and Ejrene.

The group of young Polish fillies will not be too large this time – but of a very good quality – with Janów Podlaski bred Polish National Junior Champion Mare, the beautiful Palabra (by Enzo).

A strong group of young horses was entered by Polish private studs – with Polish National Res. Champion filly Eksterna (by Ekstern) from Falborek Arabians, Polish National Res. Champion colt Lord Bey Shah (by Psytadel) from Minnesota Arabians and highly scored at 2008 Polish Nationals: Melody (by Psytadel) from Minnesota Arabians, Espiria (by Psytadel) b&o by Lech Błaszczyk and a well known showman Etnodrons Psyche (by Padrons Psyche) owned by Paweł Redestowicz, this time with his new handler Piotr Stańczuk on a lead. With new handlers, besides Eksterna, also other representatives of Falborek Arabians (WH Justice daughters) Sotika and Wasa will appear in Aachen.

The official website of the show is already on-line: www.all-nations-cup.org , the organizers promised to provide with live stream and videos from the classes to be available on-line during the event.
