Michałów-bred Elandra (Monogramm – Erlanda/Eukaliptus), the highest sold horse in the 2005 Pride of Poland sale (EUR 290.000), is back in Europe again – precisely in Halsdon Arabians (Great Britain). Last year Elandra, owned then by the Pride of Poland USA, LLC Partnership, was sold to Jeff and Robyn McGlinn from Mystica Arabians (Perth, Australia) for a record but unknown price. This time it is speculated that the price was about one million euro! It means that Elandra is one of the most expensive Polish Arabian horses sold ever. Michałów-bred star will be for sure a pearl of the collection owned by Mrs. Shirley Watts (who last year bought also Pieta for a record price of EUR 300.000).

Let’s remember that Elandra was the 2007 Scottsdale Supreme Champion and 2007 US National Reserve Champion Mare. In 2008 a colt out of her was born (via embryotransfer) – Leander PA by Enzo, bred by Pomeroy Arabians International. In Poland Elandra left three daughters: Echidna 2001 by Ararat (in private hands now), Ekspulsja 2004 by Gazal Al Shaqab (which was bred for the first time this year – to Gaspar) and Erabea 2005 by Piber.
