Yesterday the information about a new event in the Polish show calendar was confirmed. The C-ranked International Summer Show of Arabian Horses in Warka (in the Farma Sielanka riding centre) will be held from 20th to 21st June. Kazimierz Waga became the director of Organization Committee. It wasn’t clear whether the event, although it was accepted by ECAHO, would take place. However today, as the polskiearaby.pl website has confirmed, the arrangements have started at full stretch. Will the first edition attract many competitors from other countries? Monika Latko, the Show Secretary, says:

‘We would really like to attract guests from other countries. Our centre has European standard, we are able to admit 150 horses, or even more, if it’s necessary. The event will be promoted in Internet and during the upcoming Dressage and Show Jumping World Cup in Warsaw at the Torwar arena from 20th till 22nd March’.

The new event is another fitting to an international show in Poland. The other ones (Białka, Janów, Autumn Janów) have only a national status. The Warka centre has not only an excellent infrastructure (including hotel and restaurant) but also a big experience in international events organizing, so the show has a great chance to find its permanent position in the European show calendar.
