The Autumn Janów Podlaski Show is (for 4 years) a kind of extra time show after the National Championship and also simultaneously an extra ‘warm-up’ before the most important autumn shows. Its showcase are also the classes under saddle. On Saturday the Junior Championship as well as dressage, classic pleasure and classic costumes classes were held.

The first class, yearling fillies, was extraordinary strong as for a C-class show, although the state studs didn’t enter their representatives. There were a couple of fillies though, who have shown off on the rings, and not only the Polish ones, as the reserve champion from Scandinavia, El Piatzolla (WH Justice – Enya/Ekstern), owned/bred by ZPH Strusinianka. was one of three WH Justice daughters among 13 rivals. She received high notes (40,67), which, however, finally turned out to be insufficient to win. She went second, behind the delicate Gadnes (Psytadel – Gracea/Etogram), owned/bred by Mała Wieś stud (41,33). The third place went to Psyche Kybele (Khidar – Pomona/Ekstern) from Chrcynno-Palace stud (40,67), while Emlahaba (Al Lahab – Emanta/Pamir), owned/bred by Falborek Arabians (40,33) went fourth. Fifth position was won by Wadi Lena (Drabant – Wadi Musa/Ganges), owned/bred by Ewex Arabians (40). The rivalry in this class was so strong, that to the final five entered only those fillies that scored at least 40 points. Entia (Psytadel – Enona/Fawor), br/o. by Zalia Arabians, who started with the first number, although scored one „10” for head and neck, with the final note of 39 points didn’t make it to the leading group.

Seven 2-3-year-old fillies appeared at the ring in the Janów Podlaski hall. The class was won – with the highest note of the day, 43 points! – by Bajaderka (Złocień – Bagatela/Pesal), bred by Agricola Farm, owned by L-Arabians. Satenia (WH Justice – Słonka/Wojsław), owned/bred by Falborek Arabians, and Esterna (Al Maraam – Echidna/Ararat), owned/bred by Samko PUH had to compete for the second place. Both fillies scored the same grade (40 points) and the same notes for type and movement. The President of Polish Association of Arabian Horses Breeders, Mrs. Izabella Pawelec-Zawadzka became an arbitration judge and she pointed out the Samko PUH-bred filly as the winner. Gaja Nike (Emigrant – Granada/Monogramm), owned/bred by Chrcynno-Palace stud, became fourth (39,67 points).

The yearling colts’ class was very small – only five rivals, among which three received the same final note: 40 points. They were beaten though, above all by movement, by the Czeple Arabians-bred Zachary (Psytadel – Zeksterna/Ekstern). He turned out to be the best moving junior horse and the only one that was given a huge applause by the rather small audience. The grades 10-10-9 mirrored the common feeling, and the final grade, 40,67, remained unbeaten. The second place was won by Michałów-bred El Omari (Enzo – Embra/Monogramm), one of just two junior representatives of state breeding at the Autumn Janów. Falborek-bred Wadis (WH Justice – Waresa/Empres) became third. Michałów-bred Złoty Książę (Enzo – Złota Księga/Ganges) received 40 points, like two other colts, however, he wasn’t decorated because in this small class only 3 horses were awarded.

Eight 2-3-year-old colts closed the Saturday rivalry in the halter classes. The winner was Czar Dam (Poganin – Contra/Eldon), bred by Justyna Płatek, owned by Jan Dobrzyński (42,33 including one ‘10’ for movement). The second place came for Echo Apollo (Piaff – Echo Kallisto/Pamir) from Chrcynno-Palace stud (40,33). Parker (Ekstern – Porfiria/Ararat), bred by Krzysztof Falba, owned by Jarosław Szczepanek (40,33), who also got one ‘10’ for movement, became third. Fourth and fifth place were given after the extra time, judged again by Mrs. Izabella Pawelec-Zawadzka. Both Echo Adonis (Al Maraam – Echo Kallisto/Pamir) from Chrcynno-Palace stud and Chagall (Poganin – Corina-Corina/Dębowiec), owned/bred by St. Roch Arabians received 40,33 points. Echo Adonis became the winner.

Four females and four males entered the championship. The favorite among the fillies was the highest graded Bajaderka, however the judges pointed out Gadnes and she was the one to become champion, while Bajaderka won the reserve champion title. The bronze went to El Piatzolla. Czar Dam became Junior Champion Colt, El Omari received the reserve champion title, while the bronze medal was won by Zachary. According to the common opinion, repeated in the backstage, during this year’s Autumn Janów Podlaski Show the level of fillies rivalry was higher, despite to the fact that the colts received more top marks for the most spectacular element: the movement.

The under saddle classes were also spectacular. As Mr. Józef Zagor, the judge, emphasized, both dressage class (35 entries) and classic pleasure (8 and 18 entries) were extraordinary numerous, which means that the classes under saddle are becoming more and more popular. Dressage was divided into the senior and junior category. Among the seniors the winner was the pair Patrycja Mroczkowska – Album (Europejczyk – Alejka/Palas), owned/bred by Janów Podlaski State Stud. The pair won the vital result (70%) and beat the pair Danuta Konończuk – Metropolis NA (Consensus – NDL Martinique/Muscat), bred by Mike Nichols, owned by Janów Podlaski State Stud (68,18 %). The interesting thing is that Danuta Konończuk was preparing Patrycja Mroczkowska, so the apprentice defeated the mistress! The third place was won by two pairs: Agnieszka Romszycka – Orsk (Włodarz – Orieta/Fawor), bred by Damis, owned by Bogdan Tomaszewski and Agnieszka Woźniak – Piaff (Eldon – Pipi/Banat), owned/bred by Janów Podlaski State Stud. In the junior category the pairs Aleksandra Owerko – Metropolis NA and Kaja Dembińska – Barbarossa (Gazal Al Shaqab – Barka/Ararat), bred by Janów Podlaski State Stud, owned by Mirosław Lejszo, were the ones that triumphed.

The classic pleasure and classic costumes classes were divided into two groups: mares and geldings and stallions. These are the first place winners:
