While the audience in Aachen was excited about the All Nations Cup, Michałów-bred Emiliusz (Laheeb – Emocja/Monogramm), owned by Jaime Pinheiro, has suddenly passed away at the age of only 9 in the Rodolfo Guzzo’s training centre (Guzzo Arabian Training) in Brazil.
Emiliusz was purchased from the Michałów State Stud by Johanna Ullström in 2005. He was trained in the European Training Center and he successfully took part in many shows (over
time as the Agmal Arabians stud’s representative); he won, among other trophies, a Reserve Champion Title of Tulip Cup 2006, a Champion Title in Blommeröd in 2007 and he also triumphed in his class during the last year’s Al Khalediah Show. His offspring was born mainly in Belgium, but also in Sweden (one filly was exported to Abu Dhabi), while the breedings were sold to Australia and the Republic of South Africa. There is only one offspring by Emiliusz in Poland – Gaja Valentina 2009, a filly out of Ganga/Emigrant, bred by Chrcynno-Palace Stud.
