More than 140 horses have been entered into the Autumn Show and auction at Janów Podlaski. The event, which will take place on the 11th and 12th of September, is organized already for the fifth time, but for the first time has it garnered so much interest. Reason for this is without a doubt the accompanying auction. Many horses will first participate in the show and later be offered for sale. All classes, both halter and saddle, are entered to the full – if the clients also turn up in such numbers, then the Autumn event at Janów will gain an entirely new commercial character. Considering the current crisis on the market an additional opportunity to sell horses is not to be underestimated, though it is not possible to predict how many foreign buyers might show up. Nevertheless the future might show numerous foreign buyers coming to Janów also in September. The auction offer lists 68 horses, both breeding and performance. Thirty one of them were entered by private owners. The list begins with a Monogramm daughter – Demona – whom we saw in August during the Pride of Poland Sale, but who did not achieve her reserve price at the time. Thirty horses in the offer are juniors – aged between one and three years old.
On Monday Janów Podlaski will be organizing a course for handlers led by Gerard Paty. The entire event is to be registered by a French camera crew, who are filming a documentary on pure bred horses.
