Another stallion from abroad, a Straight Egyptian this time, has come to Poland. Hafid Ali el Dahab 2002 (MA Alishah – KEN Alia/Ansata El Salaam), grey, is standing now at the Gerald Kurtz Training Center in Konik Stary.

„Through his dam line, he is Obeyan, going back to Hanan”, the owners of the stallion, Sultan Sharbatly and his wife Nicki from Al Sharbatly Stud in Egypt explain. „This line is known to have produced lots of very good stallions as Jamil or Salaa el Din. His sire is a direct son of Ruminaja Ali (full brother to Alidaar), also a legend in Egyptian breeding. Ali’s sire MA Alishah and his dam KEN Alia are both very correct horses with very good pigment and great attitude.”

„Ali has what Polish breeders like”, the owners continue. „Body, attitude, great movement, great legs. So they can outcross with an Straight Eyptian without loosing the strong points of the breed. Outcrosses give most of the time great results. He is quite consistent in giving very good bodys, always correct legs, great attitude and motion. His offspring is usually big and leggy. He gives a lot of pigment (till now bay and the rest grey but strong pigmented).”

The stallion has been shown several times. He was Res. Champion Stallion at the El Zahraa show 2003 and National Champion of Egypt 2003. The last season he was shown in Europe and he won a reserve champion title trice: in Kreuth, Frankfurt and Sickendorf.
