As we reported on Thursday (February 9th), in Abu Dhabi (UAE), during the international non-ECAHO show, where as much as 400 horses have been entered, the Białka-bred Egema (Esparto – Egira/Emigrant), owned by Idris Hassan from Sudan, won her class with an extremely high score of 92,88. As we have found out today (February 11th), Egema won bronze at the finals. She was beaten by AJ Asyad (Marwan Al Shaqab – AJA Angelica/WH Justice) from Ajman (gold) and Ghanadir Al Zobair (MCA Magnum Gold – Thoraya Al Zobair/Ansata Selman) from Al Zobair Stud (silver).

With such a numerous entries, there were three two-year-old fillies sections, 25 rivals in each. The highest scored horses are awarded not only in a symbolic way – there is prize money of EUR 20 000 in every class, from the first to the 7th place.

In Abu Dhabi two Polish-bred stallions – Drabant (Gazal Al Shaqab – Demona/Monogramm), owned by Idris Hassan & Gerald Kurtz, and Celsjusz (Ekstern – Carina/Pesal), owned by Mohamed Omar Zaghloul from Egypt, also competed. Their class was as big as 30 horses! With a score of 91,73 Celsjusz entered the top five of the class.

The three competitors mentioned are the Gerald Kurtz Training Center wards.
