During the 46th US Nationals being held now in Tulsa (Oklahoma), the title of Yearling Colts Champion went today to Excalibur E.A. (Shanghai E.A. – Essence of Marwan E.A. by Marwan Al Shaqab), br/o. by Equus Arabians (Spain), and shown by Ted Carson (Butler Farms Training Center). This victory is a joy for those of Polish breeders that already booked his breedings for the 2014 season.

About 20 yearlings competed in two groups. Excalibur won the 2nd section easily with a very high score of 376 points. His biggest rival, who won the 1st section with the same score, was Sultan ORA (Vegas DPA – Raherra/Rahere), bred by Oak Ridge Arabians, owned by Carlos & Christiane Roizner, in hand of Andrew Sellman. But Excalibur’s better movement decided that he became the winner.

„This is the culmination of our dreams”, Albert Sorroca, breeder and owner of Excalibur, told polskiearaby.pl. “His success again confirms the rightness of our breeding decisions, the same which stand behind the successes of Shanghai. Of course these successes are the result of a hard work of an entire team of people. I owe a lot to the staff of Ted Carson, who did a wonderful job. I am extremely happy and very grateful also to all those people who trusted us and believed in Excalibur from the very beginning by reserving breedings to him. As I already said some time before, you should share your success. We shared the success of Shanghai and now we are delighted that we can share the success of his son.”

In the USA Junior Colts Championships won the 2 year old Hariry Al Shaqab (Marwan Al Shaqab – White Silkk/Dakar El Jamaal), Sultan ORA became Reserve, and Excalibur E.A. placed third, with the Top Ten title.

Excalibur E.A. will stay in the US till next year. Albert Sorroca is planning to show him in Scottsdale and Las Vegas.
