Last Saturday (July 6th) turned out to be a very successful day for Polish horses which participated in the Swedish Int. C-show Arabhäst i Väst in Grevagården (10 km from Skövde). The championship took place in a big equine center, and was accompanied by sunny wheather and quite a large public. 67 horses entered the ring. Karbona (Ekstern – Karbala/Emigrant), bred by Michałów State Stud, owned by Waldemar Bąk, won her 3yo fillies class (92,33 pts) and was chosen Gold Champion Filly. The 2yo Enerina (Ekstern – Energida/Werbum), br/o. by Czeple Arabians, was 2nd in her class (91 pts). The 10yo Lenka (Piaff – Ludmiła/Pesal), bred by Andrzej Majchrzak, owned by Przemysław Sawicki, placed 2nd in class (92,17 pts, including 3×19 for topline) and was named Silver Champion Mare. The mare and the fillies were trained and handled by Marek Demczuk.
Besides Karbona, on the podium placed also: a granddaughter of Grenlandia by Eukaliptus WW Gabriella (MPA Giuliani – WW Gazella/Psytadel), o. by W Arabians – who bested Enerina in class – as silver medalist and BLA Anastacia (Monogramm JM – Jafars Shania/Ravvens Jafar), o. by Sweden Arabians Stud, as bronze medalist. Lenka was beaten by a mare with huge show experience TA Karibia (MC Cashmere – Kaiserinne/Medalj), o. by Tarenas Arabstutteri. Psychedelic Magic (Magic Dream CAHR – Psydney PGA/Padrons Psyche), o. by Sarah Nicolas Holm (Norway) won the bronze medal.
Sawraan (o. by Sarah Karlsson and Jonas Persson), the son of Polish Sawanka (Preference by Pers – Sapala/Cadyk) and a son of WH Justice Joani – won the gold medal of colts.
Aria Santino (Marwan Al Shaqab – SF Shaklina/Sanadik El Shaklan), o. by Tarenas Arabstutteri, was chosen Senior Stallions Champion and Best in Show.
