Polish horses (or those with Polish origins) had a very busy last weekend, as during the 6-7th of September several shows were held in Europe.

The largest Polish group was seen in Prague, at the international B show. There the greatest successes were scored by the Janów Podlaski team. The junior mares championship was won by the yearling Axara (Kahil Al Shaqab – Anilla/Pesal). The junior champion stallion title was awarded to her peer Peon (Kahil Al Shaqab – Penta/Ecaho). The silver medal of the senior mares went to Bernadetta (Ganges – Belgica/Gazal Al Shaqab) and the bronze in the same category – to Sefora (Ekstern – Sawantka/Pepton). Whereas in the senior stallion championship stood out Palatino (Pesal – Palmeta/Ecaho) who took the silver.

The junior mares championship also brought a medal (bronze) to Falborek Arabians due to Schilla (Kahil Al Shaqab – Szanta/Ekstern). All the mentioned horses, as well as Epasjonata (Psytadel – Entaga/Ganges), bred by Leszek Jarmuż and owned by Wojciech Parczewski (Best Arabians), also found themselves on the podium in a different show called the Porsche European Cup, which was not affiliated by ECAHO.

Earlier, during the Czech National Show, the senior mares gold went to Wiwina (Wiliam – Wini/Pamir) bred by Leszek Sikora. The bred by Małgorzata and Józef Pietrzak Nautica (Psytadel – Nesstika Bint Nessa/Gips) claimed the bronze in the same age category.

During the same time Moscow enjoyed a huge equine event under the name of “Konnaja Rossija” (Equstrian Russia), which included a trade fair and the Russian National Championships for Arabian Horses among others. Here two Michałów bred (owned by M.W. Timin) mares showed their worth – Złota Baśń (Gaspar – Złota Orda/Pesal) and Karolina (Laheeb – Kwesta/Pesennik). The first was awarded with a silver senior mare medal and the second – with a bronze.

Meanwhile in Belgium, during that country’s National Championships, the yearling fillies gold medal went to the daughter of QR Marc and Espadrilla by Monogramm – Estokada KA, bred and owned by Knocke Arabians (Belgium). She also claimed the Best in Show trophy. Paris J, the daughter of Palabra by Enzo and Emerald J became silver medalist. The silver medal among the yearling colts was secured by the son of Ermina by Galba and Aja Justified – Naif Athbah, bred and owned by Athbah Stud (Saudi Arabia). The gold medal winner of the senior stallions was awarded to the son of QR Marc and Palanga by Ekstern, Profender KA (bred and owned by Knocke Arabians.
