The year 2018 marks the return of the multichampion mare Emandoria (Gazal Al Shaqab – Emanda/Ecaho), bred by Michałów Stud, to the show ring. Her lessee, Al Baydaa Stud, chose the Sharjah Int. Arabian Horse Festival (March 1st-3rd) as the place of her first appearence. She competed today in the afternoon, at the Sharjah Equestrian & Racing Club, in the 7 years old and older mares class (11 rivals) and won in a great style, with a score of 93,88 pts, incl. 5×20 for type and 4×20 for head & neck. Second placed Pistoria (Gazal Al Shaqab – Palmira/Monogramm), Michałów-bred, currently owned by Sheikh Abdulla Bin Mohammed Ali Al Thani, with the score of 92,63 pts. Another mare born in Michałów, Fermata (Poganin – Felicjana/Ekstern), owned by Banat Al Reeh Arabian Horse Stud, was fifth (91,25).
In the previous class, mares 4-6 years old, Michałów’s Galerida (Shanghai EA – Galilea/Laheeb), on lease to Al Baydaa Stud, was second (92,63, incl. 2×20 for type and 20 for head and neck), bested by AJ Reeda (AJ Portofino – AJ Raheda/WH Justice) from Ajman (92,88 pts, incl. 20 for type, 3×20 for head and neck and 20 for movement). Third placed Expressja TV (El Omari – El Medina/Gazal Al Shaqab), owned by Al Jazeera Arabian Horse Stud, with a score of 92,38, incl. 2×20 for movement.
In the 2 year old mares class (15 participants) in a high 3rd position, with a very good score of 91,88 pts (inc. 20 for type and 4×20 for head and neck), placed the Falborek-bred Eralda (Emerald J – Enezja/Marajj), owned by Al Shiraa Stables (UAE).
Tomorrow, on Saturday, Michałów’s Equator (QR Marc – Ekliptyka/Ekstern) will be shown under the Polish banner.
