The Falborek-bred three-year-old Eralda (Emerald J – Enezja/Marajj), owned by Al Shiraa Stables (UAE), Gold Champion of the European Championships 2018, won the Junior Fillies Silver Medal at the World Championships 2019 held in Paris from November 29th to December 1st. It is the third such a success of a Polish private-bred horse in Paris. Let’s remind that the bred by Michał Bogajewicz (SK Niewierz) Girlan-Bey (Pesal – Gracja-Bis/Monogramm) was Reserve Junior Champion Stallion in 2005, and Fuerte (Shanghai EA – Frymuszka/Ekstern), bred by Jan Dobrzyński, was chosen silver in the same category in 2017. In her class Eralda got 92,57 pts,. incl. 5×20 for type, 5×20 for head & neck and 1×20 for movement.
All those titles the Polish-bred horses won in hands of their foreign owners, but still it is an important promotion of the Polish private breeding on international arena.
A very clear dissapointment for the Polish Arabian horse enthusiasts was that the Michałów-bred Wildona (Shanghai EA – Wilda/Gazal Al Shaqab), on lease to Al Sheikh Stud (Israel), who was second in her class, with a very high score of 93,21 pts, did not get a medal. Only one „20” was missing to fill the board with „20s” for Wildona for type. She was awarded as well with one „20” for head & neck and 4×20 for movement. However she was beaten by Baviera HVP (93,36) from Abhaa Arabians.
A nice Polish accent was the title of Silver Champion of Yearling Fillies for the chestnut Equator’s daughter, Qatari-bred Mona Lisa Aljassimya (out of Midwah/Kahil Al Shaqab). Her score in class: 92,21 pts.
