The European Conference of Arabian Horse Organizations (ECAHO) recently published the show calendar for 2021. 128 shows are planned in 22 member countries as of December 18th.

There are to be five affiliated shows in Poland. Traditionally, the domestic season will start with the Junior Spring Show in Białka (5-6th of June, cat. B National). A month later breeders will meet in Radom for the All-Polish Arabian Horse Championship (July 3rd-4th, cat. B National). After a three-week break, Polish Arabians will be trotting on the beach in Sopot (24-25th of July, Sopot Arabian Horse Show, cat. Breeders’ Show). In August, as every year, the Polish National Show in Janów Podlaski (August 13-15th, cat. National) will be organized, and less than a week later, the international show in Nowe Wrońska – the Al Khalediah European Arabian Horse Festival (August 20th-21st, cat A). As Hubert Kulesza, the Festival’s general director, told polskiearaby.com: “We hope that this year the pandemic will not thwart our organizational plans and we will be able to meet and experience this unique event together in a group of Arabian horse breeders and lovers from around the world.”

There will also be five major  Title shows next season. The first is the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival (February 4-6th), advertised by the organizers as the Katara Show, with prize money nearing 4 million euro (13 million Qatar riyals). The next shows of this rank will take place not sooner than in September – the Middle East Championship (September 9-11th) in Jordan’s capital and considered to be the best show in the world, this time after a one-year break and only two-day – the All Nations Cup in Aachen (September 25-26th). The rumours that the European Championships will again be organized in Prague have not come true – the calendar states that the organizer of the only such large and closed show for sheikhs will be the Italian Arabian Horse Breeders Association ANICA and will therefore be held in Italy (October 30th-31st). The World Championships are scheduled for the first weekend of December (3rd-5th) in Paris.
