Łąck State Stallions Depot – chosen to be the organizer of 2007 racing season at Warsaw racecourse Służewiec has already released the Conditional Timetable for 2007 races at Służewiec. Due to the meetings that kept going on Friday it seems that the 2007 racing season in Warsaw, despite all the disagreements will probably start at last.
The mentioned timetable contents many stakes available for Polish bred Arabian horses being entered to Polish Arabian Stud Book only. This is in result of the new resolution about limiting the starts of non-Polish bred horses in stakes races in Poland. The resolution accepted by General Meeting members votes supported the previous resolution of Polish Jockey Club in this matter that was brought forward to the Ministry of Agriculture. Both resolutions were initiated by Mr. Andrzej Wójtowicz. Hopefully this situation will not end in lowering the interests in Arabian horse races in Poland and the number of foreign horses being trained in Poland though.

The following stakes are unavailable for the horses being entered to the foreign stud books at Służewiec racecourse in 2007:

OFIR St. – LR (cat. A)
JANÓW St. (Produce) – LR (cat. A)
DERBY – G3 (cat. A)
MICHAŁÓW St. – LR (kat. A)
GAZELLA, MLECHA & SAHARA St. (OAKS) – LR (cat. A)
SAMBOR St. – LR (cat. A)
CRITERIUM St.- LR (cat. A)

The 2007 Służewiec timetable contents also the International Arabian Racing Day that is coming back after one year break. The International Day will be organized on 10th August and will be opening the 2007 Arabian Horse Days – Poland at Janów Podlaski event. Three Arabian horse stakes will be held on that day: Sabellina, Białka and Europa Prize (last two are international).
