The Triple-Crowned Pianissima did not let anyone take away the grand win from her at the Al Khalediah Show. She will bring the title of Champion, justly deserved, to Janów. She will also bring with her one of the following: a Bentley, a Mercedes or a Lexus – as such were the prizes given to all title winners in Saudi Arabia. For now the benefactors of the awards only symbolically handed over the keys, but after a drug test nothing will stand in the way of collecting the limousines. Bon voyage!

Michałów’s Esparto had to settle for the title of Reserve Champion. He was bested in the finals by Padrons Immage, owned by the king of Saudi Arabia. It was just as expected, because Esparto, although winning his class (91,75 points), was evaluated slightly lower than his rival, who scored 92,25 points.

The other Polish (or specifically – Michałów) bred stallions did quite well: Emiliusz (Laheeb – Emocja/Monogramm), owned by the RSA, achieved 91.25 points (including a 20 for movement) and won his class, while the Danish-owned Fernando (Monogramm – Frejlina/Pepton), with a score of 91,25 points (including two 20s for movement) placed second, right behing the champion-to-be, Padrons Immage.

Unfortunately, Psyche Victoria and Altis return from Saudi Arabia without titles.
“We are very happy”, insists Krzysztof Poszepczyński from Chrcynno-Pałac Stud. “Everyone dreams of the highest laurels, but a class win is still a huge success for Psyche Victoria and a big deal. We now want her to rest. We do not plan further starts for now. The previous season was long and she deserves a vacation. She will spend it in Belgium.
„Today during the Championships the atmosphere was euphoric”, he adds. “There were more people today, as the regular public was let in, beside the invited guests. Here Championships are a true festivity.”

The results of the Polish horses are superb: Senior Champion Mare, Senior Reserve Champion Stallion and as many as five class wins. May this fantastic beginning of the season turn out to be a good omen for the rest of the year!
