The same weekend that Janów Podlaski stud has shown the selected 2008 foals to the Polish Arabian Horse Breeders Society annual meeting attendants, including the progeny of US National Champion Enzo (Padrons Psyche – RD Bey Shahmpane), the sire himself came to Europe to take part in a special presentation at Jadem Arabians, Belgium. Jadem, known as the breeder of mostly Polish lines, used to organize events that always catch the eye of the community – for it’s surprises… It happened again this time. The Saturday presentation gathered about 300 people from around Europe – Germany, Denmark, Netherlands and Great Britain. Enzo himself came from the US for few days only, accompanied with the trainer Greg Gallun. The surprise was his yearling son Hermez E (out of Natalia K by El Nabila B), bred by Enzo Ltd., that came for the weekend with his sire.
“Enzo is of a classic strong type, he’s tall and has sweet eyes that express his lovely character”, comments the judge from Netherlands, Marga Sanderse. There was also a raffle with the prizes of breedings to Enzo, Borsalino K (Encore Ali – Keepsake V/Huckleberry Bey), Gilly J (Ekstern – Georgia/Eukaliptus) and Mecano (Ekstern – Starlight/Pegaz). Besides of these, the participants of stallion presentation were: Michałów-bred Werter (Eukaliptus – Walkiria/Mamluk), Egyptian, bred by Royal Jafaar Stud/Jordan (National Jr. Champion of the country) Nibrass (Ansata Safeer – Noora/AK El Sennari) of interesting coat color and QR Marc (Marwan Al Shaqab – Swete Dreams/Magic Dream CAHR) that is being prepared to the 2008 show season by Philippe Looyens, the former owner of The Arabian Garden training
center, since few months working for Jadem Arabians. The presentation was attended by QR Marc breeder Vicki Doyle and there was also the filly – a first crop of his foals representative present at Jadem at this time. The stallions parade was accompanied by 2008 Jadem’s foals presentation – mostly the progeny of homebred Extreme sired by Janów Podlaski-bred Ararat and out of Elegantkah by Gwizd. The outstanding creature in this group was the colt out of Michałów-bred Eberia who – owned by Jadem Arabians – was a successful competitor in 2007 show season gaining the title of Res. Champion at Towerlands A-show.
Enzo and Hermez E come back to the US this week. This presentation was the next successful marketing event at Jadem – after the spectacular import of QR Marc to Europe and Extreme’s lease to South America. We could only ask – what’s next…?
